EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (July 5, 2023) – ATEK Access Technologies today announced it is now offering an 80 foot, long range version of its popular non-contact radar remote tank monitor. The TankScan brand continues to expand as an all-in-one Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform growing its sensor solutions to now include a long-range non-contact radar sensor with a remote battery pack.
“This new monitor allows the same easy installation for our customers with added selection of sensors for taller tank and bin applications”, said Craig Truempi, IIoT Business Leader, ATEK Access Technologies. "In addition, we offer ultrasonic, micro-impulse radar, submersible pressure, and external pressure level sensors."
Now with the availability of lower cost non-contact radar sensing components we have integrated a tall tank / tall bin solution to meet the expanding needs of our end users. Our IIoT edge devices are battery powered and can be deployed without running wires for power or communication.
Using cloud based IIoT platform, the measurement data is available on any browser, side by side with all of your level data. There is no software or app to install, just login from your mobile phone or computer and the measurement data is there. The flexibility to add additional sensors like non-contact radar and additional connectivity types such as Wi-Fi and satellite is great news for our clients that have a diverse set of tanks, totes and varying needs for data collection.
